If an outlet in your apartment is not working, it may be due to a power surge or an overloaded of the circuit. Please do the following:
1. Check the circuit breaker or fuse box. Flip the switch back and forth, twice.
2. Press the red button between the two outlets (known as the GFI outlet switch) to reset the outlet.
It is the tenant’s responsibility to replace any burnt-out light bulbs in his or her apartment. If a light bulb needs to be replaced in a common area, please submit a maintenance request identifying the location, and a technician will be sent out to make the repair. It is also the tenant’s responsibility to change the batteries in any beeping smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector that is located in the apartment. If there is a beeping smoke or carbon monoxide detector in a common hallway, please submit a maintenance request identifying the location and a technician will be sent out to make the repair.
